Lost Faerie is Cupid

Hello...I’m back! And this time I ain’t ‘Stupid’ anymore. Someone told me that the little fellas whose shooting people around are called Cupid not ‘Stupid’. Well I don’t really care though…because it still rhymes. Haha…So, are you folks ready to get started with the new project as I promised to you guys in my last post? So, let’s don’t waste more time…

Okay, for this project, you will need white glue (I can’t find where I put the bottle so I used UHU stick instead of white glue), terracotta art-clay, gold dust, metal ring, paint and lacquer (alternative: clear acrylic spray or clear nail polish as what I used).

1. Shape the clay into your desire shape (heart shape is a good one because we are doing this for Valentine’s day)
2. After you’re finished shaping the clay, make a tiny hole through the clay.
3. Then place the clay onto an oiled cookie sheet, and dry them in a 200 degree oven (please make sure the clay is harden enough)
4. Once the clay is dry and hardened, paint with any desired colour and allows the paint to dry. Don’t have to be thorough because we will dab the clay with gold dust.
5. Before applying the gold dust, cover the clay with white glue just to make sure that the gold dust perfectly glued to the clay.
6. Let the glue dry. I then coated the entire surface with clear nail polish.
7. You can then put a metal ring through the hole that we’ve created earlier.
8. If you wish, you can thread a ribbon or cord through the metal ring.
9. Tadaaa…the finished product.

You can give this to your love one as a pendant or as a cell phone charm. What a lovely gift isn’t it? Well then, have a great day ahead. Math with faerie!

What?! You don’t believe I can do math? Here…I have a simple equation for you guys who do not believe that fairies also can do math. The equation:

Festive seasons + school breaks = wedding ceremonies

Simple enough? Ahaha...wedding ceremonies are one of important ceremonies that fairies need to attend. It is time to create the magical moments especially for the married couples on their big day. Yup! Time to spread those fairy dusts!

Wedding gifts are the most common way to congratulate a couple for their marriage. There's no need for it to be expensive, just simple and neat will do. So, it's not about what things that are given as a wedding gifts, but it's how you wrap for it to be neat and pretty. So here I will show how to wrap a simple wedding gift. What you need are scissors, wrapping paper, sellotape, double-sided tape, ribbon, stickers and of course your gift.

1. First, cut out wrapping paper according to the size of your gift. Here, I used the whole wrapping paper.
2. Before you start wrapping your gift, fold a few layers at one side of the wrapping paper to create the look of paper fan (please measure and determine the correct position of the layers so that it will look nice on top of your gift).
3. After you are finished creating the layers, you can start wrapping you gift.
4. For the finishing look, add a ribbon on top of your gift. The position of the ribbon is up to you. As what I did, I put it at the left top side.
   
5. This how you gift will look like…

Oh, I forgot, for the mini card, I cut a red colour paper (9cm x 15cm) and fold it into two. Next I cut another paper (blue) into 8.5cm x 7cm. Then, I put a few stickers on top of the blue paper and add on some glittering glue here and there. Later, I glued the blue paper on top of the red paper (front side).

I hope this simple tutorial is useful for you guys and for those out there who wants to share any tutorials on how to wrap a gift in simple, nice but creative ways, feel free to leave a comment and share it with us and the others.

Fairy in the Bottle

Don’t talk to me…I’m very depressed right now. You know, Roldan and Zombie are missing. I guess they are now in fairy realm. I tell you something (whispering) that place isn’t very nice and magical like you always dreams about. I heard that Roldan is still searching for Zombie. Maybe they got separated when they entered the fairy realm.

So what I really wanted to do now is to make a few wishes. Hope they will come back real soon…Let’s start wishing. But first you will need to prepare something.



You will need: A4 papers (assorted colours), a see-through bottle, scissors, glue, glitter glue, wrapping paper, ribbon and embellishing objects (stickers/stamps *optional)




Make the wishes:

1. Cut the A4 papers into 1cm x 20cm.
2. Then fold the cut papers into origami stars.
3. Start decorating the bottle when you finished folding.
4. Cut some wrapping paper and glue it on top of the cover/cap.
5. Tight a ribbon around the cover/cap.
6. Put all the folded origami stars into the bottle.
7. Seal the bottle filled with your wishes.

Please don’t stop wishing people. Keep putting stars inside the jar as you do, who knows maybe your wishes will come true. I really wish to see Roldan and Zombie again right now…because I don’t want to be alone here in this place called Earth (I’m lost). Yeah, that’s me The Lost Faerie. ‘Till we meet again…

DIY card for your dad - A Father's Day Special

Hello all! Due to my obsession to art, I would say that Roldan did a very artful job to create this blog. Except for, of course, the youtube rollout in the left that keeps tuning on to the ShaneDawsonTV channel. He is not very...art to me. Well, if he is, I would call it disasterous art, or wicked art, or bizarreness...

Okay okay enough! (Both hand rose.)
That’s not why I posted this, though I felt pity for Zombie and Roldan who’re a big fan of Shane Dawson and literally didn’t grant me an administrator privilege for this blog, just in case that I might change the channel to lady fashion, make ups...hmm...

So remember when Roldan write something about Father’s Day history and origin? He did ask us to make the best of the day and do something for the day. So here’s a suggestion. How about... a card? I know, typical huh? But don’t forget, something simple was easier to remember. Dexter (in Dexter TV series) drew a simple crayon card for his blood donator to show his gratitude. That person turned out to be his biological dad and guess what? His dad kept the card until the time he died.

So what do you think? Well, if you insist on “buying” cards, I can’t do nothing about that. But if you want to do something a bit more sentimental, I can show how to make a simple and meaningful card for your dad... So here goes...

You will need:

A4 papers (assorted colours), scissors, glue, glitter glue and embellishing objects (stickers/stamps *optional)

Making the card:

1. Take a piece of paper and fold it into two.
2. Draw a pattern/design (anything that related to fatherhood or something that will bring sentimental value) on another piece of paper.
3. Start cutting your designs.
4. Now you can start arranging and glueing the patterns according to your preferences.
5. Lastly, I’ve made a simple wavy line along the edge using red pen and I followed the line with glitter glue.
6. Voila!
